VIEW FINAL PAPERSThe Path of Innovation
1. THE PURPOSE
Cardano and the blockchain ecosystem depend on robust research to mature. To fill this gap, the Cardano Community, the UBA Law School, and FinGurú joined forces, creating an academic space open to innovation to raise the standard of legal debate regarding these technologies.
2. THE LEGALTHON
A massive and vibrant event: 93 registered participants, 8 teams presenting proposals, and a 12-hour day with expert panels and international speakers. Before an excellence jury, 3 winning teams were selected based for the quality of their proposals.
3. THE RESEARCH
It didn't end with the proposals. Thanks to funding from Project Catalyst, the teams worked for months with specialized mentors, transforming their initial pitches into academic papers with methodological rigor and theoretical depth.
4. THE TUTORING
Each team had the personalized accompaniment of a tutor, who provided support, methodological guidance, and peer review to strengthen both the quality of the final papers and the rigor of the research.
5. THE CEREMONY
After the publication of the academic papers, a ceremony was held to recognize and award the three finalist teams of the Legalthon, closing a cycle of research, mentoring, and collaboration between academia and the blockchain ecosystem.
6. THE LEGACY
The result is free and tangible knowledge. These documents, licensed under Apache 2.0, are a concrete contribution from Argentina to enrich the global legal understanding of blockchain technology.
